Hi, I'm back! Finally. I am so, so, SO sorry that I haven't posted in what seems like ages and probably has been ages - but now I'm here - this post is going to be about my Latest Eye Makeup Obsessions! It is going to be a bit like the Lip Product Obsessions post that I did a while ago but with more products as I have a lot of eye makeup! Let's get into the post...
First up is the Sleek Vintage Romance palette that I got for my birthday. I absolutely love this eye shadow palette! Not only has it got 12 different shades but they are all named which I just love because it means you can actually call the name something. Like my two favourite shades in it, are Court in Cannes (a shimmery copper shade with black specks in) and Vow in Venice (a burgundy shade with a subtle shimmer). Court in Cannes is on the top row, the second one in and Vow in Venice is the bottom left one.
The next eye shadow palette is by Colour Works and it was part of a huge Colour Works makeup set that I got quite a long while ago for a birthday or Christmas. It has five different neutral shades and as you can tell, I have used it a lot because even if I'm not wanting a natural look, I will use the darker shades in the crease. Or, if I want a natural look then I will use the lighter colours on the whole of the eye lid.
The last palette is the Eye Glitter one from Claire's. I got this while I was shopping with my friend, if you can remember, I made a post about my Christmas Lush Haul, that was the same shopping trip! We were looking around for something, anything to spend more of our money on (which sounds bad, I know!) and then we decided to buy an eye shadow palette each and then get one we could kind of share (even though I ended up with it) because it was one of those 'buy two get one free' deals.
Anyway... back to the actual product! I think that this is something really fun that you could wear for a party or for Christmas. Also, it has proper glitter - not shimmer - in so if you know that you are allergic to this type of eye-makeup-thing (because I know some people can be) then I wouldn't get it.
The next thing, is a little pot of white eye shadow by Natural Collection. I like using this as either a base for coloured eye shadow or mixing it with a coloured powder to make the shade lighter. Or I've even used it sometimes on my whole eye lid and then used a brown eye shadow in the crease for a more neutral look. There is so much you can do with a white eye shadow, and probably not just what I've mentioned, it doesn't even matter if its not this one, just have a look around for any white eye shadow you like and you can use it to make different looks.
The last types of eye shadow on this list, I promise! I got these tiny pots that have two different shades of colour inside from a big set of Colour Couture makeup that I got for my birthday. There are more than just three, I think there are five or six pots including these three but I couldn't find them all. They are somewhere in the depths of my room - it is very messy although I have only just tidied it recently! :)
Moving on to eyeliner, these are my two pencils which are black and brown. I know that I got them in a set that I got for either my birthday or Christmas (last year) but I don't actually remember what set because I think I took them out as soon as I found them because I knew I would use them a lot. Which is very true because I use these two pencils a lot as you can tell from the blunt ends! I use the black one for my water line when I'm using my other black eyeliner (which is the next product I'm going to talk about). I use the brown one for a slightly different technique, I line my upper lash line but then I smudge it up onto my whole eye lid for a softer look.
The next liner that I have is this Mega Effects Liquid Eyeliner from Avon. I absolutely fell in love with it as soon as I saw it in the catalogue because it is basically like a felt pen with a slanted tip for extreme precision. The fact that it could possibly make it easier to line my eyes was enough reason to get it and now that I'm much better at lining my eyes now, I love that the precision means I can give myself different types thickness and different lengths of wings.
This next product is also from Avon, I don't actually know what it is meant to be called because I got it a while ago and I got rid of the box it originally came in but on the side it says Avon Big Colour so I don't know that's what its called or what... But anyway! It is a double ended eye pencil with two different shades of green. The two shades are Green Dream which I would probably line my bottom lash line with then smudge it slightly and Hint of Mint which I have used on my whole eye lid before. I haven't used it that much though so now I have found it again, I might start using it more!
Now we are onto mascaras, this one is the Colour Lash clear mascara by Collection. You may have seen it before in one of my other posts because I use this for school everyday so it is my most used mascara plus I also use it for any other natural looks because it just makes your eyelashes stand out without standing out too much. It is also meant to condition and strengthen your lashes which is good and I have noticed that it subtly lengthens my lashes as well.
This is the last thing on this list, finally! I am loving this mascara, and I use it whenever it goes right with the rest of my makeup so if I am wearing eyeliner then I will wear it. It is the Volumising Mascara (in black) by Collection and it gives your lashes extra volume and a little bit more length. It is also waterproof which is always a good thing - you never know!
That was all for this post, I hope you enjoyed it! Again, I'm really sorry that I haven't posted in ages and I guess it was really lucky that I have this whole week off otherwise I don't know I how I would have found time to post. Anyway, I WILL be posting soon, so for now, bye xx
**Btw, who has seen Taylor Swift's new music video for Bad Blood - I'm so in love with it and it has other stars in it too! <3 Also, have you seen One Direction on the Late Late show with James Corden? It is really funny but I'm going to let you find out why for yourself ... ;) **
