My skin care obsessions...

Hi! This is a repeat of one of the posts I have done previously but unfortunately I accidently deleted it and because I have heard good things about it - I'm doing it all again! So here it is...

Neutrogena is my favourite skin care brand and I will always recommend it to you if you ask me for a good skin care brand! I have used all of these products for a long time now and they do a lot of goodness and they are in the Visibly Clear range. The Grapefruit facial wash (the pink one in the middle) is really nice, after you have washed with it, it gives you a clean feeling and the grapefruit makes it fresh.

Then there's the Spot Stress Control facial scrub which is tea leaves and mint. It is a gentle scrub and that is a good thing because if its harsh to your skin it could be very itchy and sore afterwards. The last one in this range is the Blackhead Eliminating scrub and I really like it as it can be used in two different ways. One way is to use it as a mask, you have to put it on and wash it off after 5 mins. The other way is much quicker, though and I use it more often, it's the cleanser way which is basically how you use a facial scrub.

I have another cleanser! But this time it is by Simple. It is a moisturising facial wash that also foams - and I like stuff that foams, don't judge! It has 2 vitamins in, 1 skin loving ingredient and no artificial perfumes or colour in it. The one above is the small version which is great for taking on holiday with me as I usually find it hard to fit everything into my wash bag. I also like to take just this facial wash and no other skin care products when I go away because I like to give my skin a break from lots of chemicals. Like a mini holiday for my skin! ;)

These are two of the moisturisers I use which are Nivea Soft moisturising cream and Visibly Clear's Oil-free moisturiser. As much as I absolutely despise moisturising (and you probably do too!), I know it can be good for you because it means your skin doesn't dry out and it can sometimes do much more depending on what one you buy. The Nivea one can be used for almost everything, your face, body and hands but I like to use it on my legs and arms sometimes after a shower. The Oil-free moisturiser is for your face only but it is extremely refreshing when you put it on. It is meant to hydrate, smooth and even out your skin tone and I think it does actually do that quite well.

The last thing I want to talk about is facial wipes. The two ones I have been using recently is P.S. Love Your Skin Oil Balancing wipes and the My Skin Wake Up Fresh eye make-up remover pads. Now, I always have a problem with my skin which is very oily but can also be a bit dry some days but when I found these wipes I nearly did a little dance (jk, but I was very happy!) I use it at the end of the day normally, and I sometimes use it in the mornings if I haven't bothered to take my make-up off the night before. The eye make-up remover pads are good as well because they remove eye-shadow and mascara very well, they also smell of raspberry and lime which is nice.

That's all for this post, I am so sorry for not posting sooner but I have been extremely busy! :) Just a little side note that this week was anti-bullying week and I just want to say that if you are getting bullied please tell someone and even if your not, if you know someone that is, talk to them about it and help them. Please, I am totally against bullying and you should be too, thanks. xx  **I have been listening to One Direction's new album and it is amazing!**

My latest beauty obsessions...

Hi again! This post is all about my November beauty obsessions because I haven't done a beauty obsessions post for a long while... a long, long while. I have lots of different products from different shops so hopefully you will find something that you like the look of!

On my last post, I did a Lush haul and I left out a product from there that I got during my little shopping spree, and that is the Bubblegum lip scrub. I have always wanted to try their lip scrubs ever since I first went into Lush and now I've finally bought one, I am extremely happy! :) It is quite expensive for just a little pot of lip scrub - it's over £4 - but it is very good. I'm not an expert in lip scrubs but I can tell you that it makes your lips amazingly smooth! There's also a bonus because you can actually eat it and it tastes delicious. And who doesn't walk into Lush and think, "I wish I could eat all this"?

After we went into Lush, me and my friend also went into Claire's and we got 3 eye shadows between us. We were originally going to just get one each but when we got to the till, the lady said it was part of a deal and we could get one more. Obviously we jumped at the chance! So I got 2 eye shadows and she got one because I was paying. The first one I got is completely different to what I've got before. It is a glittery palette which is silver and black but in different shades and amount of glitter which I thought was very festive! The second one is a plain coloured palette but when I look at it, the colours remind me of Frozen - and I have absolutely no idea why! They go on your eye lids easily which is good.

I have another obsession for your eyes! I've gone a bit mad on eye shadows, oops, sorry! This time it's shimmer powder. Now, I don't think that these shimmer powders I've got are in the shops anymore because I dug them out of my make-up box (which is very big considering how old I am) and are quite old. I don't even know if you're meant to use these for your eyes but I was just looking for something different for the season! These are loose powders but you could use compressed powders which might be easier to apply onto your lids. The colours I have are quite natural but I think purple and blue shimmer would look nice.

Time for something that isn't make up! I have been using Rapid Clear Treatment from the Neutrogena Visibly Clear range that I talked about in my post about skin care (about that, I may have accidently deleted that one which is really annoying and it is all my mobile Blogger app's fault for tricking me) which I am going have to re-do again. You squeeze a tiny amount of it onto your finger and then put it on top of the spot you want to go away. It reduces spots in 4 hours and it actually works and you can see that it has gone down in that time - not lying!

That was all for this weekend, sorry it was a bit short but I hope you liked it and I will post soon, my lovely people! xx  **Who else has watched the new Olly Murs video for Wrapped Up - I am so hyper about it and I have no idea why!**

Christmas Lush haul...

Hi again - this is the second post of my double post so yay! If you hadn't already guessed it's going to be about the Lush haul I was hinting at in the last post! I absolutely love Lush because it has some of the best bath products I've used and they all smell amazing. I went with one of my friends over the half-term last week for some Christmas related Lush products.

If you've ever been in Lush before, you will know that the people who work there love to demonstrate the products to you. As soon as we went into the shop, they were all over us! The very first thing they showed us though was the Magic bubble wand. I really like Lush's wands ever since I went to a birthday party there and we got one for free. This one tints the water pink and it makes a ton of bubbles from just a tiny bit of bar as you can see in the photo. It also has a bell which I think just makes it perfect!

This bath bomb was my friend's favourite - and I can see why! It's called Dragon's Egg and it has a strong smell but it is very nice. It also looks a lot like the Snow White one that they have out in the Christmas season which can be confusing. It fizzes a lot and spins (yes, spins!!!) in the water which is fun but means that it doesn't really last that long after using it once in the bath.

"Charlie, lets go to candy mountain!" Yes, you are right, this bubble bar is called Candy Mountain which I think is a great name for it being a Charlie the Unicorn fan! Nearly anyone who does Christmas shopping in Lush will tell you that this is a Christmas must-have. There is only one reason to get it - it smells LUSH. Excuse the awful pun. ;) It makes loads of bubbles as you can hopefully see in my really bad photo above!

I like lots of Lush's shower gels like Happy Hippy but I wanted to get a Christmas-themed one so I got Snow Fairy. Snow fairy has a very sweet smell of candyfloss and I could almost eat it! It has a slight shimmer going through it because as you know, Lush are obsessed with shimmer and glitter especially at this time of the year. Only with mine, it has fallen down to the bottom. Another good thing about it is it lathers well and I like shower gels that lather. Don't ask!

Finally, I have the Snow Fairy massage bar. Turns out that I liked the smell of the shower gel so much that I got a massage bar with the same smell. As you do! I had to take a photo of the packaging because it looked so cute! I love how Lush always wraps up their bars in pretty patterned paper! :) As you can see, it is in the shape of a fairy which just adds to the cuteness and it has a white glittery heart. The heart is the cutest part of it, or at least that's what I think! With the massage bar, you can rub it on your skin and it makes it feel moisturised and smooth. The only downside to this is it melts quite a bit.

So that was the second part of my double post! I'm sorry about the excessive amount of pictures I've put on this post but I wanted you to see the after effects. If you've been into Lush recently and got a product that I haven't got then please tell me in the comments. Please also comment if you have any of the products I have reviewed. That's all for now - post soon xx **Btw who has seen the new Steal My Girl video? I think it's cool but why is Harry wearing a coat? Haha.**

Latest bath/shower obbsessions...

Hello! Now, if you can remember, I did a post in September (I think...) about my latest beauty obsessions and I promise you I will do another one of those soon - so do not fear! In the meantime, I wanted to do a post on my latest bath/shower obsessions. So here it is!

I have been using the Herbal Essences Beautiful Ends split end protection shampoo for a good few years now and I can honestly say it is one of the best shampoos I've ever used. I have even started using the conditioner with it too. It has red raspberry extract which is really nice and the smell is just what I would want a shampoo to smell like.

And because I loved this shampoo by Herbal Essences, I decided only just yesterday when I was in Superdrug that I would get the Clearly Naked Volume shampoo. Apparently it has 0% silicone, paraben and colourants which sounds good. I have to say that the smell is so refreshing! It has grapefruit and mint extract so it depends if you like strong smells.

At this time of the year, I am much more fond of baths than I usually am so I have been using Lush products more. My favourite product is Fun, I got it when it was new before the summer holidays so it isn't new anymore but oh well! It's like play dough and it is very fun to play with - hence the name Fun! There are different colours with different scents and I have the yellow one. The smell is very nice but hard to describe and the other scents were equally as nice but I was getting it with one of my friends and they decided to be a little picky about it! ;) I absolutely love Lush and because they have their new Christmas stock I may be planning a little Lush haul with a friend very soon so you will have to wait and see!

I have also been using the Raspberry Kiss body scrub by Treacle moon which I absolutely adore! I always love Treacle moon products as they put little snippets of writing on the packaging which I think is so cute. I really like the body scrub mainly for the reason it smells of raspberries and I instantly fall in love with raspberry smelling products - don't judge!

Another product by Treacle moon is The Candy Jar, Ice Cream Soda which is an extremely sweet smelling bath/shower gel. I like it not only because of the smell but it lathers and foams really well which is great as I like to do that often. You can also use it in the same way as a bubble bath by running it under the taps if you want to have a soak in it.

That is the end of this post and I am doing a double post this weekend because I'll admit I was meant to post last weekend and didn't get round to doing it. Just a little hint for the next post - I may have mentioned something about it already! ;) xx
