Merry Christmas!!! (not a 'Guess the object' - sorry)

Hello, can I just say I'm really sorry that I stopped posting for a while but its been so extremely busy (and I know I've been saying that a lot recently!) especially with end of term exams and Christmas coming up. I am posting to tell you good and bad news...
The bad news - is that I wont be posting until next year. :'(
The good news -  is that I will definitely post every week starting from the beginning of 2015! :)

The object from  the sixth of December.

That was a quick answer to the last 'Guess the Object' post but at least you know that I will be posting some cool posts soon in the new year and I already have some good ideas! Merry Christmas and A Happy New Year (in advance)! Have a great time and feel free to comment in the section below about what you enjoyed about Christmas this year! Bye xx

6th December...

Hello :) I'm so sorry that I never posted on Saturday - I was busy all day and I was planning on posting right in the morning but we had a power cut this morning. On Saturday, I went  to the cinema and shopping for more Christmas presents. I also got a couple of bits for me like a Christmas jumper which was really cute as it had a polar bear on it and I got a new onesie as well which is grey and has owls all over it. That's enough about my long shopping trip and now time for another 'Guess the object' post!

Yesterday's object(s) was star confetti!

What is this Christmassy object?

That was all for today but I will be back - do not fear! Bye for now xx **I really enjoyed Nativity 3 and I loved all the songs in it, especially 'Dude, Where's my Donkey?!' and it was funny and very emotional at some points - my friend even cried!**

Friday 5 December 2014

5th December...

Hi, its Friday! And that means... no school until Monday!!! :) Now lets see if you got the last object right and then you can find out the next object you have to guess.

It was Santa!

Can you guess what this is? Clue: There are lots of them.

That was the 'Guess the object' advent thing for today and I will be posting tomorrow - post soon! xx **I get to see Nativity 3 tomorrow at the cinema, what are you planning to do?**

Thursday 4 December 2014

4th December...

Hey again people! It is nearly the end of the week and I can't wait! This 'Guess the object' post is going to be very linked to Christmas and probably very easy to guess. But first - the answer to yesterday!

It was a party hat! Well done to any of you who got it right!

Guess what this picture is of?

That's all for tonight but I will do it tomorrow so don't despair! Bye xx **Btw I am crazy about One Direction's song Night Changes - it's probably one of my faves on the album.**

Wednesday 3 December 2014

3rd of December...

Hi again! Another post on 'Guess the object' - yay! But first here are the results from yesterday...

The object from the 2nd was a candle!

Can you guess what this Christmassy object it is?

So that was today's object and it will get harder I promise. Post tomorrow! **Guess what happened today? I was on my way to the bus stop and I sprained my knee really badly and now I have to wear my knee support again! I have dodgy knees - I can't help it!**

Tuesday 2 December 2014

2nd of December...

Hi! So this is the second 'Guess the object' post and also the results from yesterday's post!

This was what the object was - balloons! :)

Can you guess what this object is?
If you do feel free to comment what you think it is below.

Did you get the first Christmas object right? Remember, I will be posting around the same time as I did today for this post. I am really sorry that I posted the 1st 'Guess the object' post a bit too late but I was very busy on Monday evening - blame the homework! For now, bye. ** Who else has heard the Band Aid 2014 song for Ebola in Africa? I know I'm a bit late to say, but I thought it was really good.**

Monday 1 December 2014

December posts - advent time!!!

For December, I'm doing something a little bit different - and I hope original! I'm doing a virtual advent calendar but instead of tasty treats, I'm doing a 'Guess the object' thing where I post an unidentifiable part of a picture of an object that is to do with Christmas. This is the first post!

Can you guess what this object is?

I hope you like this idea and I am going to do it daily so keep on looking! Please comment what you think the object is in the comments below if you know and I will post what it is tomorrow. Good luck! **Who has an advent calendar and what one is it? Post in the comments - I have a One Direction one!**

My skin care obsessions...

Hi! This is a repeat of one of the posts I have done previously but unfortunately I accidently deleted it and because I have heard good things about it - I'm doing it all again! So here it is...

Neutrogena is my favourite skin care brand and I will always recommend it to you if you ask me for a good skin care brand! I have used all of these products for a long time now and they do a lot of goodness and they are in the Visibly Clear range. The Grapefruit facial wash (the pink one in the middle) is really nice, after you have washed with it, it gives you a clean feeling and the grapefruit makes it fresh.

Then there's the Spot Stress Control facial scrub which is tea leaves and mint. It is a gentle scrub and that is a good thing because if its harsh to your skin it could be very itchy and sore afterwards. The last one in this range is the Blackhead Eliminating scrub and I really like it as it can be used in two different ways. One way is to use it as a mask, you have to put it on and wash it off after 5 mins. The other way is much quicker, though and I use it more often, it's the cleanser way which is basically how you use a facial scrub.

I have another cleanser! But this time it is by Simple. It is a moisturising facial wash that also foams - and I like stuff that foams, don't judge! It has 2 vitamins in, 1 skin loving ingredient and no artificial perfumes or colour in it. The one above is the small version which is great for taking on holiday with me as I usually find it hard to fit everything into my wash bag. I also like to take just this facial wash and no other skin care products when I go away because I like to give my skin a break from lots of chemicals. Like a mini holiday for my skin! ;)

These are two of the moisturisers I use which are Nivea Soft moisturising cream and Visibly Clear's Oil-free moisturiser. As much as I absolutely despise moisturising (and you probably do too!), I know it can be good for you because it means your skin doesn't dry out and it can sometimes do much more depending on what one you buy. The Nivea one can be used for almost everything, your face, body and hands but I like to use it on my legs and arms sometimes after a shower. The Oil-free moisturiser is for your face only but it is extremely refreshing when you put it on. It is meant to hydrate, smooth and even out your skin tone and I think it does actually do that quite well.

The last thing I want to talk about is facial wipes. The two ones I have been using recently is P.S. Love Your Skin Oil Balancing wipes and the My Skin Wake Up Fresh eye make-up remover pads. Now, I always have a problem with my skin which is very oily but can also be a bit dry some days but when I found these wipes I nearly did a little dance (jk, but I was very happy!) I use it at the end of the day normally, and I sometimes use it in the mornings if I haven't bothered to take my make-up off the night before. The eye make-up remover pads are good as well because they remove eye-shadow and mascara very well, they also smell of raspberry and lime which is nice.

That's all for this post, I am so sorry for not posting sooner but I have been extremely busy! :) Just a little side note that this week was anti-bullying week and I just want to say that if you are getting bullied please tell someone and even if your not, if you know someone that is, talk to them about it and help them. Please, I am totally against bullying and you should be too, thanks. xx  **I have been listening to One Direction's new album and it is amazing!**

My latest beauty obsessions...

Hi again! This post is all about my November beauty obsessions because I haven't done a beauty obsessions post for a long while... a long, long while. I have lots of different products from different shops so hopefully you will find something that you like the look of!

On my last post, I did a Lush haul and I left out a product from there that I got during my little shopping spree, and that is the Bubblegum lip scrub. I have always wanted to try their lip scrubs ever since I first went into Lush and now I've finally bought one, I am extremely happy! :) It is quite expensive for just a little pot of lip scrub - it's over £4 - but it is very good. I'm not an expert in lip scrubs but I can tell you that it makes your lips amazingly smooth! There's also a bonus because you can actually eat it and it tastes delicious. And who doesn't walk into Lush and think, "I wish I could eat all this"?

After we went into Lush, me and my friend also went into Claire's and we got 3 eye shadows between us. We were originally going to just get one each but when we got to the till, the lady said it was part of a deal and we could get one more. Obviously we jumped at the chance! So I got 2 eye shadows and she got one because I was paying. The first one I got is completely different to what I've got before. It is a glittery palette which is silver and black but in different shades and amount of glitter which I thought was very festive! The second one is a plain coloured palette but when I look at it, the colours remind me of Frozen - and I have absolutely no idea why! They go on your eye lids easily which is good.

I have another obsession for your eyes! I've gone a bit mad on eye shadows, oops, sorry! This time it's shimmer powder. Now, I don't think that these shimmer powders I've got are in the shops anymore because I dug them out of my make-up box (which is very big considering how old I am) and are quite old. I don't even know if you're meant to use these for your eyes but I was just looking for something different for the season! These are loose powders but you could use compressed powders which might be easier to apply onto your lids. The colours I have are quite natural but I think purple and blue shimmer would look nice.

Time for something that isn't make up! I have been using Rapid Clear Treatment from the Neutrogena Visibly Clear range that I talked about in my post about skin care (about that, I may have accidently deleted that one which is really annoying and it is all my mobile Blogger app's fault for tricking me) which I am going have to re-do again. You squeeze a tiny amount of it onto your finger and then put it on top of the spot you want to go away. It reduces spots in 4 hours and it actually works and you can see that it has gone down in that time - not lying!

That was all for this weekend, sorry it was a bit short but I hope you liked it and I will post soon, my lovely people! xx  **Who else has watched the new Olly Murs video for Wrapped Up - I am so hyper about it and I have no idea why!**

Christmas Lush haul...

Hi again - this is the second post of my double post so yay! If you hadn't already guessed it's going to be about the Lush haul I was hinting at in the last post! I absolutely love Lush because it has some of the best bath products I've used and they all smell amazing. I went with one of my friends over the half-term last week for some Christmas related Lush products.

If you've ever been in Lush before, you will know that the people who work there love to demonstrate the products to you. As soon as we went into the shop, they were all over us! The very first thing they showed us though was the Magic bubble wand. I really like Lush's wands ever since I went to a birthday party there and we got one for free. This one tints the water pink and it makes a ton of bubbles from just a tiny bit of bar as you can see in the photo. It also has a bell which I think just makes it perfect!

This bath bomb was my friend's favourite - and I can see why! It's called Dragon's Egg and it has a strong smell but it is very nice. It also looks a lot like the Snow White one that they have out in the Christmas season which can be confusing. It fizzes a lot and spins (yes, spins!!!) in the water which is fun but means that it doesn't really last that long after using it once in the bath.

"Charlie, lets go to candy mountain!" Yes, you are right, this bubble bar is called Candy Mountain which I think is a great name for it being a Charlie the Unicorn fan! Nearly anyone who does Christmas shopping in Lush will tell you that this is a Christmas must-have. There is only one reason to get it - it smells LUSH. Excuse the awful pun. ;) It makes loads of bubbles as you can hopefully see in my really bad photo above!

I like lots of Lush's shower gels like Happy Hippy but I wanted to get a Christmas-themed one so I got Snow Fairy. Snow fairy has a very sweet smell of candyfloss and I could almost eat it! It has a slight shimmer going through it because as you know, Lush are obsessed with shimmer and glitter especially at this time of the year. Only with mine, it has fallen down to the bottom. Another good thing about it is it lathers well and I like shower gels that lather. Don't ask!

Finally, I have the Snow Fairy massage bar. Turns out that I liked the smell of the shower gel so much that I got a massage bar with the same smell. As you do! I had to take a photo of the packaging because it looked so cute! I love how Lush always wraps up their bars in pretty patterned paper! :) As you can see, it is in the shape of a fairy which just adds to the cuteness and it has a white glittery heart. The heart is the cutest part of it, or at least that's what I think! With the massage bar, you can rub it on your skin and it makes it feel moisturised and smooth. The only downside to this is it melts quite a bit.

So that was the second part of my double post! I'm sorry about the excessive amount of pictures I've put on this post but I wanted you to see the after effects. If you've been into Lush recently and got a product that I haven't got then please tell me in the comments. Please also comment if you have any of the products I have reviewed. That's all for now - post soon xx **Btw who has seen the new Steal My Girl video? I think it's cool but why is Harry wearing a coat? Haha.**

Latest bath/shower obbsessions...

Hello! Now, if you can remember, I did a post in September (I think...) about my latest beauty obsessions and I promise you I will do another one of those soon - so do not fear! In the meantime, I wanted to do a post on my latest bath/shower obsessions. So here it is!

I have been using the Herbal Essences Beautiful Ends split end protection shampoo for a good few years now and I can honestly say it is one of the best shampoos I've ever used. I have even started using the conditioner with it too. It has red raspberry extract which is really nice and the smell is just what I would want a shampoo to smell like.

And because I loved this shampoo by Herbal Essences, I decided only just yesterday when I was in Superdrug that I would get the Clearly Naked Volume shampoo. Apparently it has 0% silicone, paraben and colourants which sounds good. I have to say that the smell is so refreshing! It has grapefruit and mint extract so it depends if you like strong smells.

At this time of the year, I am much more fond of baths than I usually am so I have been using Lush products more. My favourite product is Fun, I got it when it was new before the summer holidays so it isn't new anymore but oh well! It's like play dough and it is very fun to play with - hence the name Fun! There are different colours with different scents and I have the yellow one. The smell is very nice but hard to describe and the other scents were equally as nice but I was getting it with one of my friends and they decided to be a little picky about it! ;) I absolutely love Lush and because they have their new Christmas stock I may be planning a little Lush haul with a friend very soon so you will have to wait and see!

I have also been using the Raspberry Kiss body scrub by Treacle moon which I absolutely adore! I always love Treacle moon products as they put little snippets of writing on the packaging which I think is so cute. I really like the body scrub mainly for the reason it smells of raspberries and I instantly fall in love with raspberry smelling products - don't judge!

Another product by Treacle moon is The Candy Jar, Ice Cream Soda which is an extremely sweet smelling bath/shower gel. I like it not only because of the smell but it lathers and foams really well which is great as I like to do that often. You can also use it in the same way as a bubble bath by running it under the taps if you want to have a soak in it.

That is the end of this post and I am doing a double post this weekend because I'll admit I was meant to post last weekend and didn't get round to doing it. Just a little hint for the next post - I may have mentioned something about it already! ;) xx

Autumn Shopping haul...

Hi again! It hasn't been that long since I last uploaded a post but I decided I would write about my autumn shopping haul - lucky you! :) Ever since I started a blog (although that wasn't very long ago) I have wanted to do a post like this and it just so happened that I went shopping last Saturday... so here it is!

I first went into Matalan's, and I absolutely love Matalan clothes! Every time I go into the store, I will pick up something. This time I bought two pairs of jeggins (I am obsessed with jeggins!) one was a dyed effect and the other was a nice dark navy colour. I also got a grey jumper with black dots on, it also had a little zip on the back which was cool. I got two tops as well, one was grey with a pretty flower design on and the other had a flower/French theme going on with "J'aime les fleurs #No.4" written on it. I also picked up some hair bands; some cheetah print head bands and some plain brown hair bands.

I also went into Primark and I got a few extras that I needed - or wanted! I got more hair stuff like bobby pins (because all of my friends keep stealing mine!) and more hair bands for school.
I also got a couple of packets of facial wipes. I am getting into facial wipes because I used to be really bad at taking my make-up off properly (I'm lazy) and I would just wash it off in the shower. Bad idea. I have just discovered that it stains your flannel! I got a new lint-remover and anyone with guinea-pigs or other furry pets knows what I'm on about. My guinea pigs' fur moults A LOT. It is not a very good look when you have white fur on a pair of dark jeans!

In Primark, I saw this whole area with toilet bags and make-up bags lined up and mine are getting old and I need new ones before they completely break on me. So I got a cute toilet bag which has macaroons printed on it in pastel shades. It is the same size as my old one so I know I can fit enough stuff in it and as soon as I saw it I was just like, "You are the one".  I then decided that I needed a new make-up bag too so I went for the matching one. Now I can't wait to use them when I next go away on holiday!

When I went into Boots, I was hoping they would have the same powder I've been using ever since I started going back to school but they didn't which I was a little disappointed about. Luckily though, I spotted the make-up range Natural Collection and I think I have used a product ages ago by them. So I thought, why not give it a try? Turns out the Natural Collection powder is much better for me and is the best skin colour I have found for me in any make-up.

I then found a cover-up stick and I have always wanted to try them because one of my friends told me about them so I got one in the skin tone fair. I also wanted to try a different lipstick so I got one from Natural Collection as well in the colour Rose Bud.

Finally I went into The Body Shop (because it is the best!) and I bought a coconut smelling Hand Cleanse Gel which has an extremely nice cooling effect on your hands. I also got a facial brush thingy which I have heard exfoliates your face really well and since trying it, I can agree!

That's my especially long post - hope you liked it and I will post again soon! xx
**I have managed to listen to the full track of One Direction's Steal my girl and it is sooo good and the Big Payno and Afterhrs Pool Party Remix is cool too!**

How to make latte foam...

Hi :) So the other day, I came home from school and my brother was making a latte for himself and he had found out how to make the milky foam that goes on top of lattes. It is actually really easy and I wanted to share how to make it the homemade way with you!

Step 1: Half fill a jar with milk.

Step 2: Put the lid on and shake well for 30 seconds.

Step 3: Take the lid off  then put it in the microwave for another 30 seconds.

Step 4: Take it out and there should be a layer just on the top of foam. Spoon the it on top of the latte.

VoilĂ !

That, my friends, is how you make latte foam. If you have any idea what the foam is actually called then feel free to tell me in the comment section below because I really want to know! Post again soon xx
** I just heard the snippet of One Direction's song, Steal my girl and it sounds pretty cool!**

Introducing my guinea pigs...

Hi, so basically, last week was a little busy - plus I have had a sleepover on Friday and was tired over the whole weekend - so I didn't get to post anything new but I am just doing a quick post today. :) By the way, I want to remind all of you lovely people who look at my blog that I won't always be writing about beauty and hair, do not fear!
I only recently realised that I haven't actually posted about Caramel and Lolly (my cute guinea pigs) since I told you about them in my first post. So I am going to do just that!

When I got Caramel and Lolly, they were the only guinea pigs left in the shop which I guess is lucky really because I would've felt bad leaving all the other guinea pigs behind (don't judge lol). I was planning on getting two females, so I was delighted to find out they were sisters.
I had been waiting ages to be allowed to get guinea pigs and I was finally getting them, it was probably one of the best days in my life! Excuse my cheesiness, please. :)

This is Caramel, she likes eating, annoying her sister, and hiding in the sleeping area of their hutch. She absolutely hates getting her nails cut and going to the vets - she always sulks at me for the rest of the day whenever I cut her nails.

This is Lolly, she likes cuddles and sleeping on top of their wooden bridge. She has a weird obsession with moving their toys around the cage... don't ask! I also have a sneaky suspicion that she has something against me because she is always doing number twos on my lap!

So that was a little introduction to my guinea pigs! <3 I promise that I am going to post about something different next time, but what it's going to be about, I am not telling!
Will post soon xx

My latest beauty obsessions...

Hi again! :)
This is going to be a post all about my latest beauty obsessions. Some of these buys I have literally only just got like a couple of weeks ago but since using them, I have fallen in love with them! Some of them I have tried over the holidays and I will be able to tell you the positives and the negatives of them. So hopefully you will find this helpful if you have the same skin and hair care problems as me.

As you may have guessed from my last post, I absolutely love the make-up brand, Collection. They have some great make-up like the Lasting Perfection concealer and the clear mascara, Colour Lash.
However much I love some of their products, I have found some can be a bit temperamental like the No Clump definition mascara. It clumped the first time I used it, I've only used it once though so I am willing to give it another go, especially as my mum uses it and seems to like it.

This Perfecting Minerals powder is also in the Collection collection. :) I packed it when I went on holiday as it is quite small and easy to fit in. It gives you a concealer and powder in one which is very handy. The only problem I have about this, is that when its near to running out, it is very hard to get the powder out.

I am using hairspray more often now because I have started curling my hair for school. This is, has been, and will always be my favourite hairspray. There are lots of different types of hairsprays within this brand (VO5) like Ultimate hold and High volume. They are really good because they are weather resistant and once you've sprayed it on, your hair is still flexible. It also brushes out nicely and doesn't tangle easily through the day.

Right, so just before I went back to school, my mum got me dry shampoo because I have a long fringe that goes to the side and my hair can get really oily. I had been complaining about it going in lines during the day and it had been annoying me but now I've got this, I haven't had to worry about that because it cleanses and revitalises my hair immediately after putting it on. I can just quickly spray it on at lunch and my fringe is revived.

So that's all the products I am absolutely obsessed with at the moment! I hope you enjoyed this post because I enjoyed sharing it with you. Will be writing more soon xx ;)
**I am loving the song All About That Bass by Meghan Trainor**
