My Autumn Fashion Staples...

Hello! I know I am a little bit late with posting this but hopefully you will like it still! I wanted to write this post because I personally love autumn because of the different colours and I like to represent autumn in the way I dress, especially in autumn. I don't know why - I just do because I think that style-wise, autumn is my favourite season, or fall, if you're American! Or whatever you call it - if you call it something different in your language please feel free to comment it down below, I would love to know!

The first thing I love wearing during autumn are boots! I have two pairs (well, obviously, I mean, you can see them in the photo!), one pair are high heeled, lace up and are my absolute favourite pair (left) and the others are beige and are flats (left) because I don't usually wear high heels that often (in fact the left pair of boots are the only proper high heels I own!) as I'm not used to the height when I'm in them. Basically, I'm short and I guess its lucky I'm that way because I'm scared of heights - even heights that are just one or two inches higher than me, apparently!

I.Am.Obsessed.With.Scarves. I'm not even kidding, I have hundreds of them! Does this photo prove it? ;) I especially love wearing scarves in the autumn because its when the weather is at the middle stage between being cold and being warm and you can snuggle in them without having loads of layers on. These scarves are from loads of places and people so I can't tell you where every scarf came from and I definitely don't have a favourite, but I can tell you where I find some really nice scarves; Primark. They do some lovely ones.

I had been waiting for ages to find a chance to wear my denim jacket all through the summer but now its autumn I can actually wear it! I'm usually really picky about 1) when I wear my denim jacket (it has to be when it's too cold for just wearing a top or jumper but not too cold that wearing just a denim jacket wouldn't be enough). And 2) with the right clothes (I have this weird thing about wearing too much denim, like if I'm wearing jeans, even if they are a different colour, then I couldn't wear it, but if I'm wearing leggings or something, then it's fine). I don't know why! I'm just really picky with stuff like this!

The next fashion staple I have for autumn is woollen clothing. Whether it's tights, socks, leggings, tops or jumpers, I just like wearing woollen stuff during autumn (and winter) because I think it gives me more warmth and makes me feel more cosy in the colder days. These are a few of my favourite woollen clothes.

Starting from the left, I have a white and navy striped, oversized jumper that has a zip going nearly all the way down the back which is from Primark. The second item of clothing is a very holey (don't worry, I wear a vest underneath it!) but very pretty cream top that I think is from Matalan...? Yep, it is, I just checked! Next, is a really nice thick, grey jumper that my Mum very impressively knitted for me - thank you Mum! :) Lastly, is a cool white top that has three quarter sleeves which is from New Look.

And finally my last autumn style staple is autumnal makeup! I love making my makeup match the season because I think some of the colours of each season are beautiful and I like representing that in my makeup looks. Starting clockwise from the top I have, the Work The Colour eye shadow pencil in Vanilla Sky, Avon Nail wear Pro+ nail enamel in a metallic green shade, Colour Works Nail Polish in burgundy, an Avon eye shadow in a slightly metallic brown, Technic gold eye shadow, Colour Works Lip Gloss in burgundy, Avon Ultra Colour lipstick in Berry Blaze, and Colour Couture two shades eye shadow in metallic light beige and metallic brown.

That was all for this post, I hope you liked it, I haven't done a post that is specifically about a season before so hopefully it was good! I am also extremely sorry that I didn't publish a post last weekend but I was busy and I know I've used that excuse so many times before but apparently I am a very busy teenager! Anyway, I will be trying to get up a post next weekend, I promise. Post soon xx

**Have you heard what the name of One Direction's fifth album is going to be? Made in the A.M. Which sounds pretty cool, don't you think? I do anyway! Comment down below if you are excited for their fifth album, I am but then I'm always excited for something... ;)**

My Latest Obsessions...

Hello people! I am so excited today, and you want to know why? Just now, I found out that I have had exactly 1000 views! I just want to say thank you to anyone who reads my blog posts, whether that's regularly or you just read one post, because you have made my day! I hope that's a sign that you like my posts, haha... ;) Anyway, now that I have said what I really wanted to say, let's get on with the blog post!

Before I get on with this post: I have decided to make these Latest Obsessions posts into general stuff that I have been loving recently instead of just beauty because I thought it would be nice to include some of the other stuff that I really like at the moment.

I will, however, start this off with a beauty obsession. This is the VO5 Heat Protect Styling spray, I have been using this so much recently because I have been styling up my hair lots recently. This heat protecting spray is the best one I've ever used, honestly! It does exactly what it says it does on the tin (or bottle rather!), it gives your hair an absolutely gorgeous satin soft and ultra shine finish. After I have blow-dried my hair with this having been sprayed in before-hand, I just automatically feel the difference and how nice my hair feels and even looks after. It also protects your hair up to 230*c which is good, especially when your using a heat tool on your hair like a curling wand.

Next up are these cool Popcult pencils I have been using since I got back at school. I got them from livinginlalaland.co.uk which is a really quirky online shop with little stationary bits, clothes, jewellery and other things that are just very different. They sell loads of Popcult pencils that come in sets of 3 and have quotes from either a film or TV series. I got two different sets, the purple pencils have quotes from Pitch Perfect on and the multi-coloured pencils have quotes from Big Bang Theory (yes, I like Big Bang Theory, OK. Problem?) I really think they just make my school day so much better when I just get a pencil out and read a funny quote from one of my favourite films or series.

This has been so helpful at the moment because I am in the midst of a huge breakout all over my face! I wasn't using this much until recently when I was just like, I need to find something that works for my bad acne and I found this again! It's the Visibly Clear Spot Stress Control 3-in-1 Daily Cleansing Lotion. Its literally been my spot hero in the past few days and as I'm using it every day, it is helping my spots go down much more!

The next thing is the Oil-Free Moisturiser by Visibly Clear. I know that this sounds kind of bad but I wasn't using my face moisturiser a lot of the time because I didn't feel I needed it and my face is naturally very oily so I thought it would just make my face feel even more sweaty than it already looked (can I just say that oil is not sweat so when my face gets shiny during the day - I am not overly sweaty, thank you very much!).

However, since using the cleansing lotion that I mentioned just before, I realised my face was getting extremely dry so I knew I needed to use it after I cleansed my face to make sure it was moisturised. The good thing about this though, is that it is oil-free, hydrates, smoothes and evens out skin tone so after I have put it on, my skin just feels so much better.

Now, I was being extremely lazy during the holidays about shaving my legs (I was wearing trousers or leggings a lot of the time, alright?!) so I wasn't moisturising my legs as often but now that I'm back at school and we wear skirts and have PE (shivers...) I have to shave my legs a lot more. This moisturiser is from Avon and it is the Nourishing Indulgence Sugar Plum and Vanilla hand and body lotion. It smells just amazing and has a slight hint of purple colour in the actual lotion which looks pretty, I think anyway. I have had this moisturiser for a long, long, long... time and I still haven't managed to finish the bottle although I'm getting closer!

And another moisturiser! I really like this, it is the Honeymania Hand Cream from The Body Shop. I love all The Body Shop things but this has to be one of my favourites and I carry it around with me nearly all the time, especially now I have school. I know that the honey smell is very strong and sweet so it is an aquired taste but I really like it and it just feels so nice to put on your hands and actually, it feels very luxurious! Also, it has Community Fairtrade honey from Ethiopia in.

Finally, I am reading one of my favourite YouTubers' book, Life With A Sprinkle of Glitter by Louise Pentland. I have quite a few YouTuber books but I only recently just got Sprinkle of Glitter's one and I love it! I'm very into books you can just pick up whenever you want and go to any place you want and this is one of those books. So far I have read the Meeting Celebrities page, the whole Need To Knows sections which has some very good advice about school, bullying and self-esteem, I have also briefly looked at the Anti-Baking part which is quite funny! Let me know what your favourite part is if you have the book in the comments down below.

I hope you enjoyed this blog post, I know I didn't post at all last week but I have been trying to get back into the swing of things at school and I have already been loaded with piles of homework! Hopefully, though, I can keep on posting new blog posts every week for you! Anyway, that's all for now.  Before I go, another HUGE thank to everyone who has looked at my blog or is reading it right now! Post soon xx
** Who is watching the X Factor (UK) this year? I am! I think the judges are really good this year and I think that Nick Grimshaw and Rita Ora were great choices for being judges. And there's also Olly Murs helping present the show!**
