My latest eye makeup obsessions...

Hi, I'm back! Finally. I am so, so, SO sorry that I haven't posted in what seems like ages and probably has been ages - but now I'm here - this post is going to be about my Latest Eye Makeup Obsessions! It is going to be a bit like the Lip Product Obsessions post that I did a while ago but with more products as I have a lot of eye makeup! Let's get into the post...

First up is the Sleek Vintage Romance palette that I got for my birthday. I absolutely love this eye shadow palette! Not only has it got 12 different shades but they are all named which I just love because it means you can actually call the name something. Like my two favourite shades in it, are Court in Cannes (a shimmery copper shade with black specks in) and Vow in Venice (a burgundy shade with a subtle shimmer). Court in Cannes is on the top row, the second one in and Vow in Venice is the bottom left one.

The next eye shadow palette is by Colour Works and it was part of a huge Colour Works makeup set that I got quite a long while ago for a birthday or Christmas. It has five different neutral shades and as you can tell, I have used it a lot because even if I'm not wanting a natural look, I will use the darker shades in the crease. Or, if I want a natural look then I will use the lighter colours on the whole of the eye lid.

The last palette is the Eye Glitter one from Claire's. I got this while I was shopping with my friend, if you can remember, I made a post about my Christmas Lush Haul, that was the same shopping trip! We were looking around for something, anything to spend more of our money on (which sounds bad, I know!) and then we decided to buy an eye shadow palette each and then get one we could kind of share (even though I ended up with it) because it was one of those 'buy two get one free' deals.

Anyway... back to the actual product! I think that this is something really fun that you could wear for a party or for Christmas. Also, it has proper glitter - not shimmer - in so if you know that you are allergic to this type of eye-makeup-thing (because I know some people can be) then I wouldn't get it.

The next thing, is a little pot of white eye shadow by Natural Collection. I like using this as either a base for coloured eye shadow or mixing it with a coloured powder to make the shade lighter. Or I've even used it sometimes on my whole eye lid and then used a brown eye shadow in the crease for a more neutral look. There is so much you can do with a white eye shadow, and probably not just what I've mentioned, it doesn't even matter if its not this one, just have a look around for any white eye shadow you like and you can use it to make different looks.

The last types of eye shadow on this list, I promise! I got these tiny pots that have two different shades of colour inside from a big set of Colour Couture makeup that I got for my birthday. There are more than just three, I think there are five or six pots including these three but I couldn't find them all. They are somewhere in the depths of my room - it is very messy although I have only just tidied it recently! :)

Moving on to eyeliner, these are my two pencils which are black and brown. I know that I got them in a set that I got  for either my birthday or Christmas (last year) but I don't actually remember what set because I think I took them out as soon as I found them because I knew I would use them a lot. Which is very true because I use these two pencils a lot as you can tell from the blunt ends! I use the black one for my water line when I'm using my other black eyeliner (which is the next product I'm going to talk about). I use the brown one for a slightly different technique, I line my upper lash line but then I smudge it up onto my whole eye lid for a softer look.

The next liner that I have is this Mega Effects Liquid Eyeliner from Avon. I absolutely fell in love with it as soon as I saw it in the catalogue because it is basically like a felt pen with a slanted tip for extreme precision. The fact that it could possibly make it easier to line my eyes was enough reason to get it and now that I'm much better at lining my eyes now, I love that the precision means I can give myself different types thickness and different lengths of wings.

This next product is also from Avon, I don't actually know what it is meant to be called because I got it a while ago and I got rid of the box it originally came in but on the side it says Avon Big Colour so I don't know that's what its called or what... But anyway! It is a double ended eye pencil with two different shades of green. The two shades are Green Dream which I would probably line my bottom lash line with then smudge it slightly and Hint of Mint which I have used on my whole eye lid before. I haven't used it that much though so now I have found it again, I might start using it more!

Now we are onto mascaras, this one is the Colour Lash clear mascara by Collection. You may have seen it before in one of my other posts because I use this for school everyday so it is my most used mascara plus I also use it for any other natural looks because it just makes your eyelashes stand out without standing out too much. It is also meant to condition and strengthen your lashes which is good and I have noticed that it subtly lengthens my lashes as well.

This is the last thing on this list, finally! I am loving this mascara, and I use it whenever it goes right with the rest of my makeup so if I am wearing eyeliner then I will wear it. It is the Volumising Mascara (in black) by Collection and it gives your lashes extra volume and a little bit more length. It is also waterproof which is always a good thing - you never know!

That was all for this post, I hope you enjoyed it! Again, I'm really sorry that I haven't posted in ages and I guess it was really lucky that I have this whole week off otherwise I don't know I how I would have found time to post. Anyway, I WILL be posting soon, so for now, bye xx
**Btw, who has seen Taylor Swift's new music video for Bad Blood - I'm so in love with it and it has other stars in it too! <3 Also, have you seen One Direction on the Late Late show with James Corden? It is really funny but I'm going to let you find out why for yourself ... ;) **

A Caramel & Lolly post...

Hey people, I'm really sorry that I haven't posted at the weekend, I did actually start writing late on Sunday but I ended up not having enough time to finish it and publish it as I had hoped to. This post isn't completely different because I did do a post like this when I first started my blog but I realised that I hadn't done one for ages and I know I did promise you another post about them. It's about my guinea pigs!

If you didn't know, I have two guinea pigs - sisters - that I got about a couple of months after my 13th birthday. Yes, they are now both 1 year old since last November! I'm really sorry I didn't make a post about their birthday, I was actually thinking about it but then I remember getting really excited about another post and kind of forgot to make that post. That sounds bad. Oops. I hope they can forgive me, haha! Anyway, enough random talk, lets do this post!

So I know I introduced them in one of my first posts called Introducing My Guinea Pigs. If you want to see that just look at my oldest posts in 2014.
This is Lolly...

...And this is Caramel!
There is a story behind these two photos besides them both looking so cute. Basically, one of my best friends and I had them both out (at separate times) and we wanted to make it fun for them outside of the cage instead of just sitting in our laps and getting cuddled endlessly (which we were fine with doing but they got bored easily!) So we decided to put them on top of my beanbag (I have a new one now so this one is all theirs) and then we got a jumper and placed it over the top of it. They would both hide under the jumper like it was hide 'n' seek which was so cute. They loved it!

This is both of them around Christmas time, my Dad was trying to put up the tinsel on the ceiling just above their cage (it is on top of a small cupboard) and they kept trying to catch it. It was pretty funny to watch, with them stretching up as tall as possible to get it!

Caramel and Lolly trying (and succeeding) to eat through a big bowl of carrots and broccoli. We give them this as a treat because broccoli is their absolute favourite thing to eat. Whereas, for me, it is my absolute least favourite thing to eat. Everyone's a winner!

Um... Lolly, what are you doing to Caramel??

Bath time! (I just realised that Lolly looks like she was trying to escape... she wasn't, honest! Well, at least I hope not...)

Caramel looks less like she is trying to escape, which is good! These photos were taken just after they had a bath and while I am drying them. Whenever I wash them (which isn't that often, only when they really need it) I always wash them in the sink because its easier. The shampoo that I use on them is Johnson's Small Animal Shampoo which is really good and it just helps get rid of the dirt in their fur and freshen them up a bit. Then I rinse it off, careful not to dunk them completely under the water and then wrap them up in a towel so they don't get cold. They actually don't mind it that much but when they first get into the water, they aren't sure what's happening so start wriggling a little bit. I mean this was only their 2nd time!

Both of them eating hay (they are absolutely mad about it) from the hay rack's point of view! Sorry about the horrible mess of the bedding behind them, it was all their fault and I think that I was going to clean their cage out either that afternoon or the next day; I do clean their cage out every week, don't worry!

Finally, two extremely sleepy guinea pigs! They are always like this at the end of the day even if they have been lazing about during the day anyway. Which makes them very lazy, I guess! If you have guinea pigs, are they like mine?

That was all for this post, I hope you enjoyed it. As I said before, I have actually done this sort of post before but then I ended up not doing another one for a while until now. If you did like it, please let me know and I will try to do a post about Caramel and Lolly more often. Also, if you have a pet, then please feel free to tell me in the comment section below because I would love to know about them!
**Who else has got the Now 90 CD? I only just got it the other day and I would tell you what my fave song on it is but I honestly love a lot of them. What songs are you loving at the moment? It doesn't have to be on the Now 90 CD.**

New Beauty Products...

Hi people!
If you've seen some of my slightly older posts then you will know that I like to do what I call my Latest Beauty Obsessions posts. Basically they're about beauty products that I've been using a lot more recently and that I really like and want to share with you.
No, this post isn't one of those posts but I wanted to do something a little bit different. I'm going to do a New Beauty Products post. Which is where I tell you what new stuff I've got recently (or stuff that I got ages ago but still haven't tried yet!) and what they are meant to do. Then if I like them I will try to include them in another Beauty Obsessions post. Simples! I hope so anyway... ;) On to the post!

First up is something that I got only yesterday, it is a Tangle Attack brush! Now, I have heard about these for a while now (plus my friend has one) and it is meant to brush out tangles in your hair much easier than a normal hairbrush. And from what I've heard its really good! One of my little cousins has really curly hair and my Auntie had been saying it was hard to brush out the tangles so I thought I'd tell her about it as an idea. She went out and found one and while she got my cousin one, she got me one! So she gave it to my Grandma to give to me when she came down here yesterday. So thanks for that if you're reading! :)

Moving on to another product for your hair! I'm pretty sure you can guess what this is - hair chalk! I know that it has been around for a while now and this Opia hair chalk set from Primark has been sitting around for quite a long time (since my Autumn Shopping haul, I think!) in my room. And I still haven't managed to find time to use it! That is not entirely my fault though, I'm just really scared that it doesn't wash out as easily as it says so I have to find time in one holiday but I either end up forgetting or am really busy (or lazy!) because our school doesn't allow you to have colourful hair.

Anyway, this Opia hair chalk set includes two different colours, pastel blue and pink with a pair of little tongs to slide the hair chalk blocks into and so I guess its easier to apply to your hair. Also, if you know how well hair chalk washes out, please comment down below and tell me!

Next up is Solutions Makeup Removing eye pads from Avon. I recently starting wearing heavier eye makeup like eyeliner and more layers of eye shadow and obviously that is harder to get off with normal face wipes (which you're not actually meant to do anyway but I'm a lazy person) so I have started using eye pads to get it off (which are actually meant for taking off eye makeup!) My Mum got this for me at some point and as soon as I've finished my other pack of eye pads which will be easy because I only have one pad left I'll start these.

I got this a fairly long time ago when I was shopping in Boots. It is part of the Visibly Clear range by Neutrogena that I rave on about a LOT. This product is the Spot Stress Control 3 in 1 Daily Cleansing Lotion. Its the first time I've noticed that it says lotion. Hmmm... can't say I can see how it is a lotion but there you go! Basically, its meant to do what almost all of their other products do in one product which is deeply cleanse, reduces excess oil and shine, and help to clear spots. And you are meant to use a cotton pad to wipe it onto your face without rinsing. Sounds clever anyway!

A Body Shop product - yay! I also got this aaaages ago, like around Christmas. Yeah, it was Christmas, because I was looking in there for presents! Anyway, I really wanted it and I think it was part of an offer I'm not sure but it is a bar of soap (no, really? Sarcasm intended.) which is Shea scent and I know that it smells nice as I think I remember smelling it in the shop. Don't know when I'm going to use it though because I don't have my own bathroom and I am NOT sharing... Not with the boys in my family anyway!

I got this in Superdrug fairly recently so finally something that is properly new! I know I haven't mentioned it much but I am a big Mixer (fan of Little Mix)! I had seen this All About The Eyes palette by Little Mix with Collection loads of times and I never got the chance to buy it but this time I did because there was some sort of offer on at the time that meant you could get 3 different products in the shop for less and get a free #makeup bag (#makeup was the slogan on the bag). I wonder if I will look as pretty as them if I wear these eyeshadows... haha jk ;)

One of the other things I got as part of that offer (and what I actually went into Superdrug for) was this Work The Colour Eyebrow Kit by Collection. I am so so sorry that the photo is really bad but I rushed it because after I'd typed up about the eye shadow palette I had realised I was going to write about this and I hadn't got a picture! Anyway, now I'm back. I've always used powder for filling in my brows because I personally think it looks more natural but that's just my opinion.

I thought that this kit was quite good as it has a mini double-ended brush which makes it handy for travel and there are three different shades, blonde, brown and very dark brown/black. I use the middle shade (brown) for my eyebrows. It also had a clear brow mascara but I'm not really bothered about using that.

The last beauty product! Yes, I am extremely late but I needed (wanted) it so much that I was prepared to buy it a long time after it came out! I got the big You & I set which includes the little candle alongside the perfume. I absolutely love the scent! And I'm not just saying that because I'm a directioner. I mean I still have Our Moment (I'm saving it - if that's a little weird!) and I thought that was a great perfume scent! I think that Our Moment and You & I are quite different because Our Moment is slightly sweeter while You & I is slightly stronger. Then again, I'm definitely not a perfume expert!

That was all for this post. Hope you liked it. If you have tried any of these things out then feel free to tell me in the comments down below or if you have bought anything yourself recently and you want to tell me (and other viewers) what its like.
Sorry this post was late (again!) but I have been busy for the whole the weekend. I guess it was lucky having a Bank Holiday Monday off (a UK thing, if you are from another part of the world) so I could have time to post it today otherwise I don't know when I would've posted it! Anyway, until next time, bye xx
**Btw, I have a big English exam tomorrow and on Thursday I have... Wait for it... Dreaded jabs. Not just one! Oh no, two! And I'm not going to lie, I am a little bit scared! If that makes me a wimp, so be it! So wish me luck on both of them (especially the exam!)**
