Hi, so this is Part 2 - I hope you like it!
One of the first places I went to was Boots (the shops aren't in order) and I was mainly going there so I could get a few things I needed but I will show you what I got anyway.
I first headed off to the Collection counter because that's where most of my daily makeup comes from. Although I haven't included Collection Lasting Perfection Ultimate Wear powder in any of my Beauty Obsessions posts, this is my go-to powder. It isn't much different to the Collection Pressed Powder but I find that it does stay on for a little longer which is good I guess because at least it lives up to its name!
I also got a Collection Lasting Perfection Ultimate Wear foundation. You might be surprised because usually I don't like wearing foundations because they feel too heavy no matter how light they're meant feel however with this foundation, I just instantly clicked. It is in a bottle and has a pump and is more liquidier (which isn't even a word!) so I think that is what I like in a foundation as all of the other ones I've tried are in a tube and they are more like a mousse. Don't be surprised if this is in my next Beauty Obsessions post!
At the end of the aisle, I saw a small Seventeen nail polish stand and I quite liked the look of them. The nail polish collection is called Colour Carnival by Seventeen. This was a colour I really liked, it is a sort of pinkish-purplish colour (no idea how to describe it!?) - hang on, I've just located the name of this colour - it is called Rose Pink. Which means it probably is rose pink!
The next thing I spotted was a Balmi lip balm. You have no idea how long I have been searching for these! The first time I had one was when I got it from Tesco, a while ago now, I'd accidently screwed the lid on too much and after that the lid wouldn't stay on properly. I was then stupid enough to put it in my handbag and when I took it out, the lid had separated from the bottom-half of the lip balm so the lip balm had been smeared around the rest of my things in the bag and was completely destroyed. Anyway, this one is a bit different from last time, it is purple and tastes like blackcurrant which I thought sounded really nice.
The last couple of things I got in Boots were hand moisturisers. This one was the Fast Absorbing Hand Cream by Neutrogena. I think I used to have a tiny tube of this before so when I saw this I knew it would be good. I also needed a good moisturiser because this winter my hands have been particularly dry and I've been really bad at putting it on.
I got a mini moisturiser as well. This one is Atrixo Enriched Moisturising Cream. I got it mainly so I could take it out with me because it is so small. It also has a bit of camomile in and I don't know what that does but it makes it sound better to me! Is that weird? :)
Then I went to Primark!!!
(I don't know why I put 3 exclamation marks there, I got excited for no reason...)
I got 2 dresses. The first dress was this one with butterflies and flowers printed all over it. It also has a belt that goes with it which I thought was nice. The material is a bit different to most dress fabrics, it is quite sheer but it has an inside lining.
The second one was a white skater dress and the top part of the dress has a flower pattern stitched onto it but the inside of the petals has holes. I like skater skirts/dresses because I am quite short and I think that personally my body shape looks better with that type of dress.
I'm mad about anything and everything Disney, so when I spotted a whole row of T-Shirts with Disney-themes on them, I rushed over there! It was between this one (of the Disney palace and "Live in the dream" on it) or another one with a cartoon Elsa and "Let it go" on it. I decided this one because it is more general Disney and I already have an Olaf jumper. :)
At some point in March (no idea exactly when?!) I am going to Italy on a school trip and I needed a bag for hand luggage so I found this really cool checked rucksack which has a front pocket and a main compartment. I have never been abroad before and I've also never been on a plane so I am very excited/nervous! So if you have been abroad, gone on an aeroplane or been to Italy (or even live in Italy) please let me know in the comments.
The last item of clothing I got in Primark was a stripy over-sized jumper. Not that I got it in a big size (I got it in small) but because it is meant to be quite baggy. I love wearing it as it's very casual and cosy. It's also good for long car journeys as I found out on Friday!
That was Part 2, I will be posting very soon again for all you amazing viewers and until next time - bye xx **Who has heard Jessie J's new song Masterpiece? I think its really cool and means a lot!**
I've been abroad and the planes hurt your ears like crazy! I love your oversized jumper how much was it? Xxxx
ReplyDeleteThanks for warning me! And thanks, I can't remember and I would've been able to tell you but I didn't keep the price tag on it... so sorry xx
